Job Description

Beijing Aidi School started as an educational cooperation project between the Chinese and Australian governments (with investment from the Aidi Education Group) and was officially started in Beijing in 1999. Aidi School is located in Beijing Chaoyang District, providing a safe, beautiful, and inspiring learning environment for all students.

The school provides an inclusive K-12 international education system and multi-channel high school model that includes Australian, American, and British high schools, as well as an art and design-based high school. Aidi believes in taking the best teaching approaches from both Chinese and Western education, making sure that students have an established cultural identity combined with an international outlook.

Job Requirements

Preferred teacher qualifications:

  • BA degree in linguistics or applied linguistics; B.Ed with licensure for English/EALD/ESL; MA/M.Ed/M.Sc in linguistics, education, ESL/EAL or similar

Minimum requirements for all teachers:

  • Native English speakers
  • Clean criminal record
  • Able to pass a basic health check
  • BA degree and 120 hour TESOL/TEFL certificate

Primary School English teacher

We currently have a position available for an English teacher in our primary school, teaching students from Y1-Y6. Experience in the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint curriculum preferable, but not essential.

Senior School English Teacher

We are currently looking for an English teacher for our Australian WACE high school program for students in Y11 and Y12. Experience in EALD and / or Australian high school ESL teaching preferable, but not essential.

Senior School English Teacher

We are currently looking for an English teacher for our iGCSE and A-Level high school program for students in Y10 – Y12. Experience in teaching Cambridge courses preferred, but not essential.

Senior School English Teacher

We are currently looking for an English teacher for our US high school program for students in Y10 to Y12. Experience in ESL and / or American high school ESL teaching preferable, but not essential.

Senior School (Junior High) English Teacher

We are looking for an English teacher for students in Y7-Y9. Experience in the Cambridge Secondary 1, Checkpoint and / or iGCSE curriculum preferred, but not essential.

Kindergarten English Teacher

We are looking for an English teacher for our K1 – K4 students. Early years childhood qualifications and experience highly desirable.
