Beijing Jiaotong University Recruitment of English Language Instructors
Position for full-time English instructors for the School of languages and Communication Studies at BJTU. Long-term working contract is preferred.

Major responsibilities:

1. Courses:

• 1) Speaking and Conversation course for freshmen, both English majors and non-majors;
• 2) Lectures (about culture and society of English-speaking countries, or comparative culture) for non-majors;

2. working load:

• 1) 14 hours class teaching assignment per week, 4 hours flexible assignment;
• 2) Flexible assignments include student coaching, online course recording or document proofreading etc.

Requirements for candidates:

• 1. Native English speakers with bachelor degree or above; bilingually proficient candidates are preferred;
• 2. Valid teaching qualification certificate;
• 3. At least two years of teaching experience;
• 4. No more than 60 years old;

Salary & Accommodation:

• 1. The annual salary is about 180,000 RMB before tax, including 10,000 RMB international travel allowance.
• 2. No on-campus accommodation;
