Established in 1983, Tourism College of Zhejiang (TCZJ) is a state-run college of higher tourism education under the administration of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, jointly supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province.
TCZJ has two campuses located in Xiaoshan and Qiandao Lake with 14,000 full-time students. TCZJ offers more than 30 tourism-related majors, including Hotel Management, Tour Guiding, Culinary Arts and Nutrition, and In-flight Service. Among these majors, 11 of them have passed the UNWTO tourism education quality certification.
Located in the historical and cultural city of Hangzhou, the famous tourist city where G20 Summit 2016 was held and the 19th Asian Games will be held, TCZJ is 25 minutes driving away from the Xiaoshan International Airport and 25 minutes away from the Hangzhou East Railway Station.
TCZJ is the 1st batch of national tourism standardization demonstration colleges and has been awarded as “Top 50 Education Achievements”, “Top 50 International Influence”, and “Top 50 Service Contribution” among 1,418 vocational colleges nationwide. The college also has established cooperative relations with international organizations including UNWTO, WFCP, WTA, WACS, PATA and ICCA.
