High School Attached to Northeast Normal University is located in Changchun, Jilin Province, and is a key high school in Jilin Province.
The High School Attached to Northeast Normal University was founded in 1950, and its predecessors can be traced back to the Third Middle School of Changchun City and Songbei Five Provinces Union Middle School in the 1940s. Initially named the Middle School Affiliated to Northeast Normal University, it was later renamed the Middle School Affiliated to Jilin Normal University and the 66th Middle School of Changchun City, etc. In July 1980, the school officially resumed its name as the Middle School Affiliated to Northeast Normal University.
As of 2021, the school has seven campuses in Liberty, Qinghua, Minzhu, Jingyue, Xincheng, Beijing Chaoyang and Shenzhen, covering kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school, international department, art department and other school divisions, covering a total area of more than 440,000 square meters. The school has more than 1600 front-line staff and more than 16,000 students.
