Description


This position is suited for an individual who is experienced in
and passionate about voluntary service, community service, or service learning.
The primary responsibility to this position is to deliver a high-quality
experiential learning course titled “Voluntary Service” to undergraduate
students, as offered by Whole Person Education Centre under the School of General
Education. Other job activities and responsibilities include:


1. Collaborating
closely with the staffs of the centre and the school;


2.Building and maintaining sustainable partnerships with external organizations to provide students with real-world experiences and knowledge in voluntary service; 

3. Contributing to the development and enhancement of the course curriculum;

4. Actively participating in course-related activities, events, and academic research;

Undertaking other tasks as assigned by the centre, school, and college.


Job
Requirement


Candidates should
possess a Master’s degree or above in social sciences, preferably a doctorate
degree with specialization in philanthropy, charity, community service, social
work, or related disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates with a
robust background in teaching experiential learning, service learning, or other
highly experiential and practical courses.


Candidates are expected to exhibit
cooperation, patience, enthusiasm, and responsibility in their teaching
approach. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is a prerequisite for
this position. The academic rank will be determined in alignment with the
successful candidate’s experience and achievements.
