Shaanxi University of Science and Technology (SUST) is one of the national universities under the construction of “Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in Central and Western China” and “14th Five-Year Education Power Promotion Project”, and is one of the national “double first-class” cultivation universities in Shaanxi Province. It is also a high-level university under national “double first-class” cultivation and key construction in Shaanxi Province.
The university has a total area of 2055 mu and a building area of 1.296 million square meters. The campus is fully functional, with advanced facilities and a beautiful environment. There are more than 23,000 full-time students of all kinds, including more than 5,000 doctoral and master’s degree students; the library has a collection of more than 2 million books.
The university is actively promoting foreign exchange and cooperation, and is one of the universities selected for the International Cooperation Training Programme for Innovative Talents of the China Scholarship Council. The university has established close cooperation with more than 50 universities and research institutions in more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Germany, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, through “one institution, one policy”, to carry out 1+2+1, 3+1, 2+2 double degree programs and semester visit programs.
