Canadian International School of Hefei (hereafter referred to as the International School) is the first 15-year international school in Anhui Province, run in partnership with the Hefei High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, the Ministry of Education of the Government of New Brunswick, Canada and the Canadian International Education Group.
The school adopts an advanced English-based Canadian curriculum and is staffed entirely by Canadian teachers. The school’s mission is to cultivate well-rounded, high quality international talent and to create a fun and educational learning environment in which students can become innovative, critical thinkers, team players and global citizens with a strong sense of service to society.
Located at the junction of Innovation Avenue and Fuxing Road, the school has an Upper School, Middle School, Primary School and Kindergarten (18 months to 3 years). The International School has 120 modern classrooms equipped with computers and interactive whiteboards, various laboratories, professional outdoor sports fields, indoor gymnasium, music and dance classes, auditorium, lecture hall, gymnasium, theatre, indoor swimming pool, cafeteria, library, medical clinic and other facilities. The school opened its doors for the first time on 1 September 2014.
