Suzhou University (宿州学院, website) is a comprehensive undergraduate university in Anhui province. The predecessor was the North Anhui Suxian Normal School, which was founded in 1949. It was renamed as Suzhou Teachers College in 1983, and was renamed as Suzhou College in 2004. It passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education in 2014 and was approved as Anhui in 2015. Provincial local application-oriented high-level university project construction units were approved in 2019 to grant new master’s degrees to project construction units.
