Pingxiang University, located in Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, is a full-time general undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education and the only university in Pingxiang City.
The university started its operation in 1941. The campus covers an area of 1200 mu, with 12 secondary colleges and 32 undergraduate majors; there are 853 faculty members and 12,447 full-time students, including 11,596 undergraduates.
