Xinxiang University (新乡学院, website) is a public full-time undergraduate college. Its history can be traced back to Taihang Public Xinxiang Normal School, established in 1949. Xinxiang Medical University (新乡医学院, website) is located in Xinxiang City, Henan Province. It is an independently-established western medical college in Henan Province. The school’s roots can be traced back to the Western Medical Clinic set up by Luo Weiling, a British Canadian and a doctor of medicine in the ancient city of Weihui in 1896.
