BJTU Weihai Campus invites applications for teaching positions in Mathematics (Calculus, Linear Algebra and Probabilities) and a teaching position in Physics (theoretical physics and experimental physics), to start from the fall semester 2020. Once you get the position, we can sign a one-semester or one-year contract.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: You should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Physics and more than two years of teaching experience. You should be able to deliver excellent teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in English and should be able to pursue your own independent research and develop publications in academic journals. Teaching positions carry a very satisfactory salary which will be offered according to your qualifications, contribution and the university’s rules and policies. In exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to offer an additional supplement. Any such supplement would be awarded on the basis of a demonstrable record of exceptional job or achievement and is entirely at the discretion of the University.

ACCOMMODATION: Members of academic staff are entitled to paid accommodation near the campus. The university offers each faculty member an apartment of 90 square meters, with convenient household facilities.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL EXPENSE:  The expense of a round-trip flight by economy class will be covered by the university for each international faculty member every semester, or added to the salary.
