Qiongtai Normal University is a full-time undergraduate institution in Hainan Province, a key support institution of the Ministry of Education for the collaborative quality improvement of teacher education, a construction unit of Hainan Province for the cultivation of “model universities for party building work”, a pilot unit of comprehensive reform of “three-wide education” in Hainan Province, and a major base of training for early childhood and primary school teachers in Hainan. It is also the main base for the training of early childhood and elementary school teachers in Hainan.
As of December 2022, the school has two campuses in Guilin Yang and Fucheng, covering an area of 1067 mu, with a building area of 334,467.98 square meters and a total value of 139,923,300 yuan of teaching and research instruments and equipment; 11 secondary colleges, with 25 undergraduate majors and 15 specialist majors; 743 faculty members, 524 full-time teachers, and full-time students 11,563 full-time students, including 9,056 undergraduate students, 2,462 specialist students and 45 full-time international students.
