As Risk Stewards, Financial Crime Compliance officer provides advice, guidance, opinions, direction, and training related to the regulatory landscape to the First Line of Defence/business. To ensure the business complies with the letter and spirit of relevant regulations, thereby delivering fair outcomes for customers and embedding a robust risk management culture in HSBC’s business processes. The key risk management role that has a broad remit and responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to; advice and oversight on Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Terrorist Financing, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Curroption (“AB&C”), Fraud Risk Management, and Anti-Tax Evasion.

In this role, you will:
A key Financial Crime Compliance role that has a broad remit and responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
1. To lead Pinnacle financial crime compliance risk management from project perspective and ensure Global FCC startergy, policy and management principle consistenly adopt in all Pinnacle ventures by each entity’s FCC team .
2. To assist Line Manager to implement and execute the financial crime compliance strategies including AML, Sanctions, Fraud, AB&C and Tax Evasion risk management to minimize risks of exposure & loss and attainment of strategic & operating objectives.
3. To review and evaluate FCC issues and/or concerns within HSBC Fintech and Pinnacle Project, and advise the business, management, line management and employees of emerging FCC issues, and provide constructive suggestions on FCC-related matters including AML, Sanctions, Fraud, AB&C and Tax Evasion risk management in the manner that facilitates business growth. The incumbent will provide advice and recommendations in relation to fintech/insurance/fund sales FCC and new business initiatives.
4. To analyze financial crime activities and prepare materials to improve FCC risks awareness of all staff, especially front line staff and sales staff.
5. To ensure product, procedures, policies in compliance with related laws and regulations.
6. To maintain constructive relationship with internal strategic partners.
