Job Description

Wenzhou Business College is a top ranked private university approved by the Ministry of Education in China. With nearly 20,000 students and over 1,000 faculty members, the College invites applications for 10-year full-time tenure track positions at all ranks in Computer Science to begin in Fall 2024. The successful candidate will be able to teach one of the undergraduate courses related to AI/ML, programming languages, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, network security, visualization, and human-computer interaction, as well as participate in the full range of faculty responsibilities, including scholarly research and service to the University. Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Computer Science or related field, or anticipate completion by July 2024.

 

Ideally candidates should have a track record in scholarly publications and the strong potential to advance research further. The academic rank and the competitive compensation and benefits package – including housing, health insurance, schooling, 10% retirement contribution, home leave allowance and more – will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. High research candidates with established publication record may be considered for a special research track, generous research funding, up to RMB 900,000 (about USD $140K) in tax-FREE salary (pending nationality), and additional allowance besides standard benefit package, e.g. extra RMB one million in housing subsidy.
