Introduction to Shunde Polytechnic

Shunde Polytechnic (顺德职业技术学院, website) is located in Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It is a local general vocational college established under the approval of the Ministry of Education, under the leadership of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, co-constructed by the province and the city, and invested by the Shunde government. The construction plan is the backbone construction unit of higher vocational colleges.

Shunde Polytechnic started in 1984 in Guangdong Radio and Television University Shunde Branch; in June 1998, Shunde Yongqiang Adult College, Shunde Li Weiqiang Medical School, Shunde Adult Secondary School and Shunde Teachers’ Training School merged to build Shunde Vocational Technology College; In March 1999, the Ministry of Education formally agreed to establish the Shunde Vocational and Technical College; in 2002, the school moved to a new campus on Desheng East Road.

As of December 2016, the college has 929 full-time teachers and 721 full-time teachers, including 253 senior titles; there are 1 national teaching team, 6 provincial teaching teams, 2 national teaching teachers, and provincial 3 teaching teachers, 2 teaching teachers in the Guangdong Special Support Program, 7 outstanding teachers from Nanyue, 5 teaching teachers at the university level, 7 provincial training targets of the “Thousands and Ten Project” in Guangdong Province, [1] school level 49 trainees, 6 trainees of outstanding young teacher training programs in Guangdong higher education institutions, 5 trainees of Guangdong higher vocational education majors, 26 school leaders, 42 young and middle-aged key teachers of Guangdong There are 4 provincial technical experts and 1 innovation leader in Foshan.

As of September 2015, Shunde Polytechnic has established and maintained friendly cooperative relations with more than a dozen colleges and universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other countries and regions. Loretta Education Group in the United States, UCSI University in Malaysia, Plymouth University in the UK, F+U Education Group in Germany, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and Taiwan Hiking Technology University have conducted long-term educational cooperation and exchanges.
