Job Description 


Candidates
with teaching interest and key research strength in one or more of the
following subject areas: Principles of Macroeconomics, Principle of
Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics,
Applied Econometrics, Political Economy, Public Finance, Games and Economic
Decisions, International Trade, International Finance, Industrial Organization,
Development Economics, Labour Economics, Urban Economics, Environmental
Economics, Economic and Business Forecasting, Mathematical Economics, Economic
History, Entrepreneurial Economics, Linear Algebra for Economics and Finance,
Calculus for Economics and Finance, Selected Reading from Das Kapital,
Foundations of Chinese Economy, etc.


Job
Requirement 


Candidates
should have a PhD degree in a related discipline. Successful candidates are
expected to be committed to excellence in teaching at undergraduate or
postgraduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable
ability to undertake independent research leading to outcomes with a strong
impact, such as publication in high quality, internationally recognized,
indexed journals and scholarly presses. Academic rank will be determined in
accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.


Benefits and Appointment Terms


Commencing
salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave and social insurance. Appointments
to these positions will initially be made on a fixed-term contract with mutual
agreement.
