Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Media Arts and Design (Ref: SCC231107)

Job Description

Media Arts and Design Programme is seeking candidates with expertise in the following areas: UI UX design, graphic design, product design, and game design. Successful candidate should also be qualified to teach theoretical courses in arts and design. In addition to creative practice and academic research, the candidate will be responsible for supervising, facilitating field trips, tutoring and caring for students and academic promotion.

Job Requirement

Candidates should have a PhD degree or at least a Master’s degree of Design or Fine Arts (MFA) with extensive working experience in Higher Education and related discipline. Candidates are required to know the academic theories and practices of the related art and design discipline.

Preference will be given to candidates who have administrative experience and management skills.




Proficiency in English is required. English is the medium of instruction in the Media Arts and Design Programme. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with the successful candidate’s experience and research accomplishments.

Benefits and Appointment Terms

Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave and social insurance. Appointments to these positions will initially be made on a fixed-term contract with mutual agreement.
