Shenyang Normal University (沈阳师范大学, website) was founded in 1951 and was formerly known as the Northeastern College of Education. The school covers an area of 122,8282.7 square meters and a building area of 942,220.78 square meters. The school has a total of 19,293 full-time undergraduates, 3,179 postgraduates, and 1,029 long-term and short-term students. The school has 26 colleges. There are two Confucius Institutes – Confucius Institute at St. Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon and Confucius Institute at Amman, Jordan.
At present, Shenyang Normal University employs 29 foreign teachers, 17 of whom are in international business schools. The remaining foreign experts teach at the School of Foreign Languages, the University of Foreign Languages, the School of Tourism Management, and the College of Liberal Arts. Each semester holds a foreign expert symposium, and the symposium for foreign students’ teaching quality improvement is held for the first time. It aims to better understand the effects of foreign experts and students’ feedback, improve the quality of teaching by foreign experts, and further promote the internationalization of education in our school.
The School of International Education, as the administrative department of studying and studying in Shenyang Normal University, was founded in 1985. It was established in the early days as the International Cultural Exchange Center. In 1993, it was renamed the International Cultural Exchange College. In 2002, it was renamed the International Education College. The task of cultivating scholarship students is the Chinese education base in Liaoning Province. The HSK test center of the Ministry of Education of China, the University of Siena, the University of Peru, the University of Perugia and the only official language test centers in the three northeastern provinces of Inner Mongolia and Inner Mongolia are located in our school.

School of Foreign Languages
The School of Foreign Languages (website) of Shenyang Normal University was founded in June 1953 and is one of the earliest departments of the school. The School of Foreign Languages has English, Russian, and Japanese departments.
The School of Foreign Languages is one of the important bases for cultivating high-level foreign language education and foreign-related talents in Liaoning.
