The Western International School of Shanghai (WISS) is a leading international school in Shanghai. WISS is the only full continuum IB World School offering the four programmes of the International Baccalaureate (IB): the Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), the Middle Years Programme (IBMYP), the Diploma Programme (IBDP), and the Career-related Programme (IBCP).

Living in Shanghai

The more you explore this fantastic city, the more hidden gems you will encounter. There are many weekend trips and beautiful towns surrounding Shanghai to explore as well; Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, Moganshan, Sheshan, and Chongming Island.
The Western International School of Shanghai is located in Xujing Town in the Qingpu district on the Puxi side of the Huangpu River. The Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Railway Station are located 10 kilometers northeast of the school. The school is located in a primarily residential area of Xujing Town, a rapidly developing area with new housing compounds, shopping areas, and restaurants opening regularly.
