Principal responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information based on procedures, guidelines and policies.

  • Handle complaint and escalation from hotline agents, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within reasonable time frame.

  • Thoroughly study product / plan policy terms and the related policy related materials ie FAQ, member booklet etc.

  • Report problems, potential crisis and complaints to manager for service improvement.

  • Assist team manager to deliver and execute the action items to improve the team performance.

Requirements
  • Good understanding of call centre dynamics e.g. procedures, processes and systems used, products sold, reward structures, agent skills and training, regulatory requirements.

  • Good call quality, with call coaching skills and experience will be better.

  • Customer driven with demonstrated commitment to improving customer experience.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.

  • Good judgment, decision making and problem solving skills. 

  • Ability to work in a team, and alone, with minimal supervision and act on own initiative.

  • Excellent time management, planning and organization skills working with pace and purpose.

  • Strong communication skills with high written and oral proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

Principal responsibilities 

  • Design and implement data solutions to enable data sources to be effectively used for reporting, analysis, modeling, and specific use-cases.

  • Lead the design and development of on-premise or on-cloud (GCP) data marts.

  • Author and maintain complex ETL pipelines which process large datasets for downstream production systems and ML models, leveraging primarily SQL and Python.

  • Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) activities to inform and support real-time marketing-campaign trigger development, such as obtaining insights from clickstream data and campaign sizing.

  • Support real-time marketing campaign trigger development by authoring and maintaining data pipelines for filtering, transforming and aggregating streams of event data using low-code platforms such as Tealium AudienceStream, Pega CDH and Pega ESM.

  • Support end-to-end testing of user journeys resulting from real-time marketing-triggers.

  • Update and maintain data dictionaries, ensure data updates are complete, accurate and consistent.

  • Ensure that data is sourced from trusted sources where possible and support work to transitioning data marts to leverage trusted sources as they become available.

  • Work closely with ASP D&A, Marketing, Channels, and other business stakeholders to design, develop and maintain analytics enablers for supporting the needs of ASP sites.

  • Support measurement of business potential and effectiveness.

  • Make recommendations and identify improvement opportunities proactively to refine and enhance the analytics enablers and related processes and platforms.

  • Develop and ensure adherence to an operating model and design, development, and maintenance best practices for data mart design and supporting analytics enablers.

  • Support the exploration and documentation of on-premise processes and migration to a cloud-based environment including source data ingestion to cloud, quality checking, development and maintenance of data marts, and business logic migration.

  • Reconciling business requirements with data availability by performing gap analysis on existing datasets and coordinating with IT team on new data-ingestion and existing data-enhancement efforts.

  • Coordinate with IT on development of tools, features, and processes to enable the D&A team and enhance data mart development and maintenance.

  • Directly or indirectly lead and steer the team in the right direction.

  • Express ideas, share and present information clearly and concisely; articulate messages, modify approach, and build connections/trust.

  • Ability to drive projects to execution by developing deliverables timelines and effectively managing stakeholders.

  • Effectively manages cross business and functional stakeholders to provide the deliverables needed to drive projects to completion.

  • Uplift analytics-centric technical capability and recommend seamless approaches and refinement in the related processes.

  • Automate and streamline the analytics and standardized report generation processes riding on the effective analytics enablers.

  • Work collaboratively with co-workers to manage and formulate analytical projects in an effective and efficient manner.

  • Help shape the future of the analytics within the Wholesale Banking function as we move to modern data and analytics platforms.

Requirements

Must have :

  • University degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience involving stake holder /expectation management, preferably in banking and financial sector.

  • Proficiency supporting data and analytics efforts in an innovative environment to support business goals and communicate the results which can be understood by all parties.

  • Experience with design and development of data marts to support AI, machine learning, analytics, and reporting work, especially on using data for implementing targeted campaigns and real-time triggers and track performance.

  • Extensive data mining skills, ability to understand various data structures, both structured and unstructured, and an understanding of common data transformation and aggregation methods.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Pythons is required.

  • Experience with analytical tools offered by cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS and / or AliCloud) and big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.

  • Strong team player with open mind, self-motivation and good communication, interpersonal skills as well as strong sense of responsibility and ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • High technical aptitude, problem solving abilities with structured way of thinking, intellectual curiosity, motivation, and passion for data discovery.

  • Detail oriented with full picture and customer first in mind. Interested in staying up to date on the latest advanced analytics and big data technologies.

About the Role

The individual will provide management and the IAMC Audit Committee with an objective, independent assessment of the internal control systems through the planning and execution of audit assignments.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Acquire and then maintain a detailed ongoing knowledge of information, processes and systems technology connected to the operations of the investment function in the front, middle and back office to identify where deficiencies may occur in processes, systems and internal controls.
  • Coordinate, plan and perform internal audit projects and regulatory audits for IAMC.
  • Ensure that the working papers, draft audit reports and other results, meet internal standards and assignments are completed within budgeted time.
  • Ensure that audit results are adequately communicated and that actions are agreed and tracked to close vulnerabilities in an appropriate amount of time.
  • Liaise with the control community and other members of the company to contribute to the implementation of an adequate and effective system of internal controls.
  • Collaborate with Group management, external parties, and external auditors.
  • Prepare a variety of reports with quantitative and qualitative analysis for business partners
  • Utilise data analytics on audits and other reviews
  • Prepare internal audit updates to Board Committees such as Group Audit Committee meetings and IAMC Audit Committee/ Board meetings

Job Requirements

  • Over 10 years of working experience, with Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Good exposure in the asset management and investment process, with good knowledge in investment products
  • Strong communication, both reporting writing and verbal
  • Strong experience managing relationships with senior management
  • Knowledge with audit tools and other software such as Power BI, Tableau (data analytic tools), MS Office, intermediate knowledge on IT
  • A relevant professional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant
  • Good command of English and Mandarin
  • Good organisation skills and attention to details
  • Good capabilities in multitasking, problem solving, and maintaining close attention to details under pressure and meet requirements within time, cost and quality constraints
  • Team orientated, dedicated and open-minded working demeanor

Amazon Global Logistics in China is a team of highly experienced logistics professionals, product & program manager and carrier specialists actively participating in Amazon’s international expansion goals. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our finance team in China.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with Business Intelligence Engineers to recognize and help adopt the best practices in reporting and analysis.

-Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.

-Forecast modeling design for financial planning

-Interface with business customers to gather requirements, with ETL extract, transform and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Python or Java.

-Model data and metadata to support monthly, weekly and ad-hoc request.

-Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to provide actual achievement and influence key business decisions.

-Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know when, how, which to use and which not to use.

-Design, implement and support an analytical data infrastructure.

-Identify data issue and collaborate with partner team to enhance data quality.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Shanghai, 31, CHN

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience

– 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

– Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

– Experience with Excel

– Experience with SQL

– Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Logistic industry knowledge is a plus
